'Melvin Vaniman (1866-1912), Alan Tierney’s Research Letters, 1996-2006, SLNSW’, Alan Tierney donated to Mitchell Library 54 research letters which had provided a very helpful contribution to the writing of his Vaniman booklet. He also donated copies of Vaniman’s copyright registration applications. See also Tierney’s Dating of Photographs and other Fine Arts, Copyright Registration Records in Australia up to 1968 as a Research Resource, Goulburn 2003, which includes a case study on Vaniman’s copyright applications.
