Born in 1960, Michael Ross is of the Anmatyerre tribe. He has country in the region of both Mt Allan and Napperby, and divides his time between Mt Allan and Desert Bore, an outstation of Napperby where several other artists, including his father Teddy Briscoe, also live. He paints Dingo and Kangaroo Dreamings. He is married to Brenda Lynch , one of Napperby’s most well-known painters.
