painter, made an undated oil painting of the original Bontharambo Plains homestead on the Ovens River, Victoria. Her parents, Rev. Joseph Docker and his wife Sarah, pioneered the run in August 1838. They replaced their original hut with a larger slab house in 1844 and by 1858 had erected a new stone mansion to house their family of eleven children. It is not known which of their daughters was the artist, nor at what date the painting was made. All three homesteads survive.
