photographic colourist, was employed in the 1860s by Edwin Dalton , Thomas Felton and William Freeman respectively when each was proprietor of the Royal Photographic Gallery, 320 George Street, Sydney. In 1868 an advertisement in the Sydney Morning Herald stated: 'Mr. Freeman (late Freeman Brothers) having purchased the business so long conducted by Mr Dalton… desires to call particular attention to his Tinted and Coloured Cards and highly-finished Miniatures, for the production of which he has secured the services of Miss Hunt, so long and favourably known while in Mr Dalton’s employment’. She was doubtless a relative of Henry Hunt , a proprietor of Dalton’s in 1866-68, and may previously have worked in the Hunt family firms.
