sketcher, showed Head of Christ in the first exhibition of the Society for the Promotion of the Fine Arts in Australia at Sydney in 1847. On 26 July the Sydney Morning Herald noted that it was 'an excellent chalk drawing – good in all respects – drawing, toning, and effect’.

A Miss Jones (presumably a different one) was both artist and exhibitor of two flower pictures in the first exhibition of the South Australian Society of Arts at Adelaide in 1857.
