sketcher, showed five works at the Ballarat Mechanics Institute Exhibition in 1869. Two watercolours, Village Scene and Cottage and Landscape , were for sale. The others were Study from Nature , Sketch from Nature and Street in Seville . Margaret Thomas , who also showed work at this exhibition, painted a Portrait of Miss T. M. Thomas (shown at the 1864 Annual Exhibition of Fine Arts in Melbourne) and the two were apparently related (but not the same person).
