Agricultural Society of NSW exhibition 1877: “Mr J. Rose, 124 King-street, has in his compartment a large selection of neat and well designed fancy goods … Mr Rose, being a Hungarian, hoists a silk Hungarian flag, made by himself – green, white and red; in the centre is the Hungarian crest, painted by Mr Bushelle ( Sydney Mail , 28 April 1877).
