sketcher and surveyor, was one of the surveyors who laid out Australind, the Western Australian Company’s settlement. He arrived in the Island Queen with eight other surveyors, preceding the Parkfield which brought out the first British settlers in March 1841, including Commissioner Marshall Waller Clifton and his family. Louisa Clifton wrote in May that Harrison had shown them 'some of his sketches’ one evening.
