professional photographer, was travelling around south-eastern Australia in 1862 taking photographs in partnership with Carl August Oesten . They were at Goulburn, Yass and Forbes in New South Wales in January, then at Benalla, Victoria. By June Oesten at least was thought to be in Melbourne where the police were hoping to arrest him. They appear to have been successful. Later in the year Plymouth was taking photographs on his own in Camp Street, Adelong, and at Tumbarumba, New South Wales.
