Narelle Unmeopa is of Tasmanian Aboriginal descent who was born in 1971 and lives and works in Mt Gambier in South Australia. She is a painter who participated in 'Our Mob’ 2008 at the Adelaide Festival Centre.

In February 2008, Unmeopa was quoted on ABC South East South Australia when they interviewed people on the occassion of Prime Minister Kevin Rudd’s apology to Aboriginal people; “For me this is a spiritual feeling of sorry rather than a physical sorry.”
