Streeton trained in industrial design at the Melbourne Technical College finishing the diploma course in 1964. He moved to London in 1967 working as an art director and draughtsperson for film studios. He undertook further film training in Britain and returned to Australia in 1975. He worked in film in Australia and was a central figure in compiling a catalogue raissone for the work of his Sir Arthur Streeton.
