Amateur painter who exhibited an oil painting Petunias and a watercolour Paper Barks with the West Australian Society of Arts in 1949 and three water colour landscapes in 1952. He exhibited in the Claude Hotchin Art Prize in 1949. In 1950 Tassel exhibited watercolours Sunday Afternoon, Crawley in the Art Competition at Art Gallery of Western Australia and an oil Azaleas. He was still exhibiting with the West Australian Society of Arts in 1956 and in the Festival of Perth exhibition that year he exhibited six landscapes in oils and watercolours.
