Peter (Richard Norman) Johnson (1923–2003) was a distinguished Sydney architect and academic leader. After joining Kenneth McConnel and Stan Smith in the mid 1950s, he led the practice McConnel Smith and Johnson, then was Dean of Architecture at the University of Sydney from the mid 1960s to the mid 1990s, then became the first Chancellor of the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).
