Peter Timms b. 1948

Timms is a noted author, editor and curator. He has been the editor of Art Monthly Australia, the curator of the Manly Art Gallery, NSW and director of the Shepparton Art Gallery, Victoria. He is the editor of The Nature of Gardens. Allen & Unwin, 1999 and a close observer of Australian domestic culture. His book "Australian studio pottery and china painting" was a pioneer study integrating china painting and pottery.
