Peter Webber was the NSW Government Architect 1973-74, after joining the NSW Public Works Department as an architect in 1949 and becoming Assistant Government Architect in 1966. In 1974 he became a commissioner of the NSW Planning and Environment Commission and was Professor of Architecture at the University of Sydney 1979-99.
