Priscilla Kelly is a Noongar artist based in Perth. The daughter of Simpson Kelly ( one of the Carrolup children artists), she was born in Katanning and raised in Tambellup in the southwest region of Western Australia. Kelly moved to Mildura in 1996 with her two children, and undertook art studies at Sunraysia TAFE while she was there. She returned to Western Australia in 2001. Kelly and her sisters, Grace Kelly and Lynette Kelly, paint in association with Mungart Boodja Art Centre in Katanning. Kelly’s works are inspired by the paintings of her grandmother, artist Bella Kelly , and her Christian faith.
