Sign writer, banner painter, artistic decorator and delineator of illuminated addresses, painter in oils. Fellows advertised in the Wise’s Post Office Directory 1905 with premises in Murray Street. He was the maker of the Amalgamated Carpenters and Joiners Union banner for Kalgoorlie in 1915. The design on one side of this banner is taken from the certificate of membership. It is in a very traditional style for such objects with a heavily ornamented cartouche surrounding Joseph of Nazareth and James Blayne, Chairman of the British committee in 1866, holding up the union crest.

Fellows exhibited a still life, a decorative panel and a portrait, none of which were for sale, with the West Australian Society of Arts in 1920. He also exhibited a decorative panel and other works in 1924. Fellows remained a member but did not exhibit in 1926, 1927 or 1928. Oline Richards states that Fellows “... was responsible for many works for the trade union movement and had maintained a consistent style over the years. By the late 1930s however, his conservative design and traditional motifs appear anachronistic in the emerging modern world.”
