sketcher, was living in Charles Street, Launceston, when he was mentioned in the Tasmanian of 15 April 1871 as having made pencil and watercolour drawings of three local properties: Newnham, the Seat of W.D. Grubb , Mr. Box’s Residence near the Railway Gravel Pits , and Mr. Lamont’s Residence, Fossil Bank .
