Robert Dixon

Under Thomas Mitchell in the NSW Surveyor-General's Department, Dixon pioneered surveys in areas south-east of Sydney but was suspended for twice publishing maps without prior approval. He sketched views of regional New South Wales that were published as lithographs in 1837.
