sketcher, drew an ink over pencil sketch of Aborigines in a landscape (Mitchell Library). The inscription on the back is almost indecipherable but appears to read: 'done by Rt Loiper [alternative readings are Louper, Soiper or Souper] 11 Weymouth St., Oct 23 1841’. An annotation by a former owner, Captain A.W.F. Fuller, states: 'A sketch of Swan River done by Rt Loiper 11 Weymouth St., Octr 23d 1841. The Native Shelters look more like S. Aust’. The most likely Weymouth Street is in London, but there is also one in Adelaide.
