Kukatja artist who started painting Tingari stories on canvas for Warlayirti Artists in 1989.

Born north of the Stansmore Ranges c. 1940, Rosie Nanyuma was a Kukatja speaker who painted Tingari stories for her country: Parkar, Larkar and Yunpu. All her paintings concern places where she lived when she was younger, and are filled with her knowledge of the country and its Law. She lived at Balgo and was married to Bob Dingle and started painting for Warlayirti Artists in 1989. A productive and very consistent artist whose works all showed great visual strength.
