Roslyn Hayward's paintings are influenced by her childhood experiences of gathering bush foods with her family in Gnowangerup, Western Australia. In 2009 Hayward enrolled in a Certificate III course in Visual Arts and Contemporary Craft at the Kidogo Art Institute in Fremantle under the tuition of Joanna Robertson. In 2009 she participated in the group show 'Moorditj Mob' at Kidogo Arthouse.
