One of Adelaide's pre-eminent fibre artists, Sandy Elverd has a national and international artist profile. She is the recipient of several awards and artist grants including a 2008 'SALA Festival Jam Factory Contemporary Craft & Design Award' and a 2009 Australia Council 'ArtStart' grant for business development and travel, which took her to New York.
