Parker lived in London from 1936, where he drew for the Bystander and Tatler . He revisited Australia in 1952. Andrea Hull emails (1999): 'Mary Cecil Allen’s 1935/36 scrapbook contains a terrific cartoon of his, with the caption “A very sophisticated time bomb. Mary Cecil Allen clad for cocktails, is let loose in local society”’.
