Steven Alderton has worked as a curator and gallery director in many regional arts centres including Wagga Wagga, Bundaberg, Redland, Lismore and the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre before being appointed Director of Programs, Exhibitions and Cultural Collections in the Australian Museum. He is currently Director of the National Art School, Sydney.
