Sculptor and modeller, worked in youth on the Houses of Parliament, London – 'under Mr. C. Barry and Mr. Thomas, the sculptor and modeller’ for 12 years, and 'on the frescoes painted by Millais and Hubert’. He came to NSW in March 1853 and worked as a contractor in Sydney for two years. He moved to the Clarence River district in April 1855, 'taking up his residence at Grafton, where he continued to reside up to the time of his death’ on 'Saturday morning last’ at his residence, Keeper Lodge, Macquarie Street, Grafton. He also worked as a sculptor and modeller in Grafton.
