  • staffcontributor Sept. 15, 2011 Brown came under the care of Uncle Herb and Aunty Bunta at the Harold Blair Hostel (part of the Koorie Health Service Project), where Brown was staying while he attended a health course at Fitzroy Koorie College (Laura Fisher, telephone interview with Uncle Herb Patten, May 2008). Brown's Diploma of Arts (Visual Arts) was completed under the mentorship of Sharon West, the Indigenous Arts Unit lecturer at RMIT Bundoora (Laura Fisher, email correspondence with Mike Sill, Australian Dreaming Art, May 2008).
