sketcher {and natural historian?}, was stated to have made the original drawing from which Perth, Western Australia, from Mount Eliza was engraved for the Illustrated London News of 24 May 1856. A German version, Perth, in West-Australien, vom Berge Eliza (1856, Mitchell Library), was engraved by W. French.
