cartoonist, drew a 'Dad and Dave’ cartoon published Smith’s Weekly 28 June 1924, 18: '“Struth Dave! Wot th’ 'ell yer doin’ in them there clothes?”/ “Cripes. I’m sick er them 'Smith’s Weekly’ guys slinin’ mullock at me fer bein’ a big kid. I’m Red-Blooded Dave, ther flamin’ gun-packing,two-fisted he-man!” (Dave is dressed up as a cowboy). Is this A. W. , the Pals illustrator (1920-26)?
