Photographic manipulator, was born in Adelaide, SA. Cruickshank's work has referenced early European photographers such as John William Lindt. His 1997 exhibition "Museum of the Colonial Post Colonial" involved superimposing European faces onto Lindt's historical photographs of Indigenous Tasmanians.
