caricaturist and journalist, was born in NZ. With no formal art training, he became an itinerant caricaturist and journalist working and exhibiting in Australia in 1934-36. His work also appeared in American magazines, including Fortune, Town and Country and Vogue. He wrote and illustrated Africa, I Presume? (Macmillan, NY 1948).
