Alan Watt is an important figure in Australian and international ceramics. His sculptural ceramics and more recently his metal forms describe man's manipulation of the landscape. He was Head of the Ceramics Workshop at the ANU School of Art from 1979 to 1998 and now lives and works in Tanja, NSW.
