Painter, came from the USA to Australia, apparently in the 1870s. She showed a painting of the Grand Canyon in an Australian exhibition in 1872. Not long after her arrival she drew an enormous sketch on paper backed on silk of Cape Woolamai, now in a private collection, Sydney.
