painter, lives Brisbane, married to Rex Butler. Graduated 1990. Winner of Samstag Scholarship, 1993; Melville Nettleship Award, Slade School of Fine Art, London, 1995 and 1999 Sulman Prize. Her solo exhibition Private Rooms: Anne Wallace, 10 years of painting , curated by Simon Elliott, was shown at Brisbane City Gallery in August-September 2000.
