Barbara Egan, ceramicist and silk screen textile artist, is a decendent of the Muthi Muthi (Balranald, NSW) and the Gunditjamara (Warrnambool, VIC) Aboriginal peoples. Egan has exhibited her ceramic bowls and plates along with her delicate silk scarves at such venues as the Bunjilaka Gallery in the Melbourne Museum and the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre, Melbourne.

Egan owns and runs the business Miss Emily Aboriginal Art in Robinvale, Victoria, where she stocks and sells her ceramics, scarves, silk and suede bags that incoporate such designs as Turtle Dreaming and The Waterhole.
