Born on Napperby station in 1942, Bobby Tilmouth is a cousin of artist Peter Leo . Teddy Briscoe Tjampitjinpa from Mt Allan is his uncle. An Amnatyerre speaker, he now lives at Napperby. His traditional country is around Napperby Soakage and Coniston. He began painting in 1986, and usually paints Fish (his main Dreaming), Witchetty Grub and Corkwood Dreamings for this area. His work has been exhibited in several Australian capital cities.
