BRUCE RADKE is highly respected for his skill as a sculptor and for over 20 years he has been creating seamless works. RADKE has a sensitivity and concern for nature born of a career in geology during the 1970’s. From 1983-7 Radke studied sculpture at the Canberra School of Art, and prior to this he completed a doctorate in geology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, USA in 1978.
Seductive and sensual, the liquid twists of RADKE’s sculptures are graceful balances of form and rhythm. RADKE exhibits broadly across Australia and internationally and in recent years he has been a regular participant in Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi.
