professional photographer, worked as the partner of Robert Norman in King William Street, Adelaide, in 1845-46. This was Adelaide’s first public photographic portrait studio but it was short-lived. Later in 1846 Heseltine was in partnership with Edward Schohl at the same premises, but this too lasted only a few months.
