caricaturist, drew caricatures at Hay (NSW) during WWII. Some are now in the Hay Gaol Museum and Cultural Centre, including one dated 1942. Cartoons specifically about prisoners of war in Hay Gaol Museum, donated by Mrs Powles of Deniliquin, are signed ' N. Heine’ (?) and dated 1941, but Loftus may also have been a POW.
