Cartoonist, drew an early Canberra, ACT, image (original NLA) showing Barton and Reid sawing the 'Braddon Block’ log: 'Barton: “Georgie is a tough 'un?” Reid: “Yes – no – We’ll manage it between us while I’m on top Toby!” It is captioned below: “The Federal Works/Practical Sawyers and experienced Log Rollers/All kind of work undertaken and neatly executed/ Note Address.
