sketcher, has been identified as the painter of the unsigned School House at King George’s Sound , Western Australia (1860, w/c, NLA). The schoolhouse, partially depicted on the right, is probably that for Aboriginal children run by Anne Camfield in her own home, Annesfield. Identified by Rex Nan Kivell, the artist is otherwise unknown, but presumably was a visiting ship’s captain.
