Mostly known as the companion and wife of the painter Abram Louis Buvelot. She evidently was a painter herself according to Thomas Clark's pencil sketch, Madam Buvelot Painting, Monsieur Pfund Reading, which depicted her undertaking an ambitious landscape mural.
