painter in oils who exhibited with the West Australian Society of Arts. In 1920 he exhibited landscapes of the Swan View and Guildford areas. He continued to exhibited landscapes. The Bent Tree, Guildford an oil painting was submitted in 1926 and Nornalup Inlet; Morning; Evening and Frankland River were shown in 1928. In 1933 he had oil paintings in competition categories Marine and Landscape and others in the Not for Competition section. His 1934 entries included two of Sydney Harbour where he had gone on a cruise. In 1936, when he was vice president, a further five were submitted. The critic Will Murdoch wrote of his work “C. H. Green’s landscape in oils, December, Victoria , is a firmly-handled rural scene which pleases the eye, although the trees in the foreground are rather too self-consciously Heysenish.”
