Description

The Gryphon Gallery. est 1972, had a policy of deliberate diversity, exhibiting contemporary artists and craftspeople.

Not strictly commercial gallery; sometimes works were for sale but other exhibitions were of an experimental nature.

Exhibitors included staff, students and ex-students.
Gryphons’ collection is at The Uni of Melbourne.
