M.T.C. became Melbourne State College then Melb College of Advanced Edn
1989 MCAE amalgamated 1989 with the Education Faculty of the Uni of Melbourne to form the Institute of Education.

Eventually Uni of Melb took the Teachers College Collection.

The apostrophe has been removed as it hinders searches within DAAO and causes duplicates.
