Connie Rovina of the Kukuthaipan/Birri Gubba family groups of North Queensland works in a variety of media including painting on canvas and board, limited edition prints on paper as well as jewellery and fabric design. Her work toured Russia and Europe in 1986 and she featured in the 2001 Brisbane exhibition “Gatherings, Contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art from Queensland, Australia”.
