Art leather worker, china painter and art teacher. Barratt was a member of the West Australian Women's Society of Fine Arts and Crafts where she taught leatherwork to members.
Art leather worker, china painter and art teacher who was a student at Methodist Ladies College, Perth Technical School and of Flora Landells at her Maylands School of Art. She shared a studio in Howard Street with the sculptor Karin Tulloch. In 1931 she exhibited with Flora and other students in an exhibition of pottery and china painting in the Industries Hall, Barrack Street, Perth.
After she married Cliff Stevenson she had a pottery studio with him and experimented with glazes. She was a member of the West Australian Women’s Society of Fine Arts and Crafts where she taught leatherwork to members. A piece of her leatherwork was selected to be presented to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Connie taught art at Methodist Ladies College c.1950s.
