Cyril Ross was a painter. He served in the Australian Imperial Force in World War II. After the war Ross exhibited in the Claude Hotchin Art Prize (1949), Art Competition at Art Gallery of Western Australia (1950) and Perth exhibition (1956).
In 1949 Cyril Ross exhibited a watercolour The Old Almond Tree in the Claude Hotchin Art Prize. He had served in the Australian Imperial Force in World War II. In 1950 Ross exhibited a watercolour Desolation in the Art Competition at Art Gallery of Western Australia. He exhibited four oil paintings in the Festival of Perth exhibition in 1956. Titles included High Summer, The Pines and The Gossips.
