Sculptor and art teacher, studied at the Hobart Technical College under Lucien Dechaineux in 1919-20 and 1923-25 while teaching with the Tasmanian Education Department, graduating in 'Art Graphic’ in 1928. She moved to Sydney and studied at East Sydney Technical College under Rayner Hoff, who taught there 1929-38. In 1932 she exhibited with the Society of Women Painters in Sydney and had work included in the 'Portia Geach Memorial Award’ in the Department of Education’s Sydney Gallery in 1971.
