Born at Lily Creek on 1 March 1933, Daisy is a Luritja speaker, and her country is Kulgara. She paints her mother’s Snake Dreaming, her father’s Seven Sisters Dreaming and her own Perentie (Lizard) Dreaming. She lives in Alice Springs, but has close family in Ernabella (two brothers), Cooper Pedy (a sister) and Wingellina (another sister). No other members of her family paint. She began painting in about 1989 with the Jukurrpa group in Alice Springs.
